Dream ended the call and proceeded to dial Bump’s number. She noticed the message indicator flashing again so she checked her inbox.

“Bitch, you think you living the good life. Yo’ past will catch up with you soon enough.”

“Fuck.” Dream screamed. “Who the fuck is this?” Dream decided to have her phone number changed so before she called Bump, she called T-Mobile customer service line.

After changing her number, she sent a text message to everyone informing them of her new number. She dialed Bump’s phone number, trying to find an excuse to tell him when he asked why she changed her number.

“Hey baby. What you doing?” Dream greeted.

“Who the fuck is this?” Bump asked irritated.

“Tavares, don’t get fucked up on the house. This Dream, nigga,” Dream replied.

“Oh, who number is this you called from?” Bump inquired.

“My new number. I changed it because we doing a lot this summer, feel me baby? I just paid our deposit on the condo and I’ll pay the light bill deposit tomorrow and get the keys. We’re scheduled to move in on May 3. I figured since we got a new place, why not get a new number.” Dream quickly replied.

“I feel ya. So we moving in on May 3? Good deal baby. I’m at the north trap house. Let me take care of this and I’ll call you back.”

“Okay, I love you Tavares.”

“I love you too baby girl.”

Bump gave the cashier at Pet’s Mirage $1,100 for payment of the Pug puppy. He scheduled to have the puppy delivered in two weeks.

“You getting that puppy for Dream?” D-Money asked.

“Yeah, it’s a house warming present for my baby. She loves small dogs. I heard her telling Angel that she was gone buy herself a Pug when the semester ended but I’mma beat her to it,” Bump answered.

“Good looking out, Bump. You must really love that girl, huh?” D-Money asked.

“Fool, you don’t even know the half. I love that girl more than life itself. She always keep it real, even though she brushed a nigga off for months on end ‘cause she was fucking with some loser in Tallahassee.

“I been wanted to make her mines, I just had to be patient. Just so happen, buddy fucked up and slipped so I gripped. I aint letting her go for shit now. She the real deal, fool. I hope yo’ ass find a gutta bitch like her to hold you down,” Bump replied with a huge smile on his face.

“Damn, that’s deep bruh. Ya’ll look good together, too,” D-Money said. “So what we got going on today?”

“Actually, I’mma hit the spot and meet Dream there. Today is the day that I show her how to cook crack. Ten times out of ten, she gone be the one ya’ll need to call when it’s time to re-up. You going somewhere?” Bump retorted.

“I was gone ask you if it was alright if I moved into the north trap house. My cuz, Buffie, got her ass on her shoulders and kicked me out.
